Angry Escort 97 transmission leak help !

My automatic transmission leaks where the trotle cable goes in. I tried to seal it several times with different products, but no changes. I replaced the cable, and it had new o ring on it. It was fine for 2 weeks and now it leaks again ! The car drives fine, trani fluid level is okay. However for some reason the pressure in the trani is too high, or maybe I just have bad luck with sealing the cable ? Is this a common problem for escorts ? Any help appreciated

Check for a clogged vent. Not sure where it is on your tranny. The vent lets the hot air expand and contract. If clogged it'll expand right past the seal you mention. Make sure you are checking tranny fluid when HOT.
