I just wanted to give a thumbs up to this forum in resolving my problem(though I hadn't posted a problem before).
It all started when I went out one day to give my son a ride to school, turned over but would not start! I got it towed to a mechanic in which he started to de-snag it, eventually he got it moved to a Chrysler dealer to hook up to a computer analysis. They told him the timing belt must of slipped, so he changed that and still no start. He asked me if I could do some research in finding the problem via internet. Thats when I found this fabulous site! Did some reading and got back to him. He got the computer analysis kit from Chrysler to see if he could find the problem once again. Still no faults found on the ecm. So I ordered one from autoecms.com and a week later, the car was running like it had before! So just to help someone else who runs into this same problem, here is what the symtoms were: -no start -fuel at the injectors, but no injection(car started when fuel misted into air manifold) -eroneous codes on ecm read out -lastly, take ecm apart,if capacitors arte bubbled like mine were, chances are the ecm is at fault! Thanks forum gurus, Dean Price |
