intercooler piping
Well i recently got a johnny race car fmic. Im gonna make my own custom pipes. My question is if you guys know how much pipe to get like what size u bends and stuff like that. I've been looking around and cant quite figure out what i need to get. Im only going to be needing piping that goes from my j-pipe to the intercooler then piping that runs to my brode upper pipe.
Thanks in advance

Re: intercooler piping
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=180440 <--- Some information on custom piping on a 2g as well as pictures of how/where he cut the piping. You're probably going to need another 45 degree bend and/or possibly one piece of straight tubing to connect to your TB because that guy already had an upper pipe from his GM MAS. Good luck with the intercooler install, it's a fun process

Ya i got it right off there website. It was at my house in 2 days. I will deffinately post some pics of the install. That guy on tuners said he used 2 u bends for the drivers side. And then the other 2 on the passenger. However he was using a maf-t blow threw setup. I want to run piping up to my dave brode upper pipe. So do u guys think i would just need 2 u bends for the drivers side and then maybe a 45 or 90 degree bend and then some straight pipe tp run to my upper pipe? Also do u think it will be neccessary for me to relocate my power steering cooler?

Re: intercooler piping
The power steering cooling line runs RIGHT where the front mount will sit. I didn't see any other way around looping the line. We just took some hose and looped the line at the top right near the ps fluid cannister. You'll know what I'm talking about because there is already two pieces of hose that connect the lines together one the way down to the cooling line. We just pulled those hoses off, took out the ps cooling line, and looped the two lines we took the hoses off of.
Some people like to relocate their power steering cooling line because they think it's "needed", but I've been driving with it looped for 3 weeks now and so far everything is great
