Blue Smoke = Oil
White Smoke = Coolant

if it was blue then yah , valve seals , which is pretty normal on a mazda block
if it is actually white then you have a crack or leaking gasket somewhere that is allowing coolant to leak in overnight ( or during a cooldown ) and those get more costly. Check both your fluid levels and see which is going down faster , and if you have the time pull a plug to inspect the color of it on the burn tip. If you dont know then bring it to your friendly Mechanic or Parts store and they can tell you what its burning. Or take a picture and post here and we could as well! Good luck

White on the plugs is usually alot of fuel additives or ... yah you guessed it , coolant is being burned , that could be your head gasket or warped heads. You can buy an additive from any parts store that might give you a little more life before you have to do some serious work. Or you can bite the bullet and have the heads taken off and rebuilt.
