rear quarter glass install 97 corolla

are there any tricks to doing this job/easier.get as far as removing trim panel,then panel decides to hang up,in area by handle.was thinking of removing top screw for division bar and tweaking it to fit glass assembly in but afraid window may/will bind.or do i just do job blind and feel inside for division bar screws.had to pop glass,lil one locked herself in and no spare key,welcome to my life.any thoughts/ideas would be appreciated
