Replicating Rivets - Nascar
Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to replicate the rivets on the lower lip of the front bumper of a Ford Taurus. I had to sand a few off to remove the mold line and would like to replace the detail lost. Thanks, Eggman2000 Example:

I'm thinking with straight pins that have the head the size and shape that you think would look the best.

I believe they sell them, and you drill a small hole and they have a peg that sits in there, or they might be small dots you glue on. I think Model Masters makes them

Thanks for the help guys. I'm in Northern Ireland so Detail Master stuff is a bit scarce! I might try the pin idea. I take it normal dress making pins would work?

I read the little magazinelette that came with my Scale Auto subscription, and there was a tip in there recommending that a tiny drop of liquid cement could replicate a rivet.
Beyond that, I recommend drilling a tiny hole, gluing in a flat-headed pin, and snipping off the back.

silver paint. or if you are using slixx decals, the decal for the front valance has that detail on it already..
but in race trim, the teams cover that whole thing with tape, so you dont see them anyway..
