Calling all LT1 3rd gens
I want to know how fast you guys actually are instead of just hearing "oh it's the best setup." Do ANY of you have timeslips or anything?????

yeah i wanna know too, maybe in da future i will do it, wheni find a non rusted out camaro 3rd gen that will qualify for the swap....

87 firebird formula ws6 (currently has a old 78 305 with the following upgrades, including lots of miles and stock heads and internals....oops) crane cam cam specs performance valve springs and retainers, flowtech headers, 255 lph fuel pump, holley 600cfm carb, weiand single plane manifold, a healty diet. 14.90 1/4 mile....just wait for the 406 to be finished MY VIDEOS MY PICTURES -Tom |

I just happen to have a complete '94 LT1 engine for sale if anyone is interested..... I'm located in Virginia. I also have a used .490 lift Lunati flat tappet cam & lifters for you non roller guys... Also a 150 MPH white faced gauge cluster from 93-96 Camaro... and complete front & rear seat set in great shape from the same '94 Camaro. I also have a complete TPI set-up with computer and harness...

sorry no i have never been to a track before, but i have raced supercharged cobra's from a dig before... had a few take me and i beat a few (usually depending on the driver) those things can run mid-low 12's pretty easy... so that gives u an idea where i am...

i have a factory replacement clutch, all weather tires, and a 10-bolt rear... even when i was racing i took it very easy out of the hole... maybe when i get a few more things upgraded... i know you will shun me but i prefer racing from a roll... less chance of damaging things (as long as you don't wreck!! lol)

peopel run 11's and 10's on 10-bolts... I run on all weather tires cuz im cheap... and my tranny hs 166k on it
