Trans. rattle
96 civic lx AT...114,000 miles
When im driving at a constant speed, what seems like my transmission starts to rattle. i can feel it in the steering wheel and if i give it gas or decelerate it goes away, but often happens again. Also, when i reverse it rattles. im thinking trans. mount? i know one is near the shock tower but it looks ok. trans fluid looks a little low also but i think there is more to it. maybe its worn out?

Re: Trans. rattle
Do you beat on your car? Have you tried tightening you tranny mount? Maybe you should try adding the proper amount of fluid and seeing if that helps instead of wasting time posting if it will.
