Question fuel filter replacement

I have an 02 Envoy SLT and would like to change the fuel filter. I think it is under the passenger door on the frame. Just wondering what has to be done prior to changing it out. Thanks, Clint.

Re: fuel filter replacement

The fuel filter is mounted in a bracket at the fuel tank. Remove the quick clips on each side of the filter and replace. Be sure to clean any dirt from the connectors before removing and replacing. Use carborator cleaner.

Re: fuel filter replacement

Just going to do mine. I have 25,000 on mine. Just think about how fuel you run through that tiny filter. Cut it open and check out all of the dirt inside.

MOTTO= change fluids and filters often...car will be happy
