Thoughts on exhaust plan

Its been a year since i started planning it so im finally getting around to doing my exhaust. Since the grand prix does not have a true dual exhaust, i am thinking about just running a single 2.5" pipe back from the stock resonator, hiflow cat., and u bend delete, in order to save some money and a lot of weight.

I am looking for a muffler which will give me a deep tone, but not overly aggressive. i like the way the borla system sounds, but i dont have that kind of money and i know i wont get sound like that with this setup, just fyi, thats the sound i like, so if anyone could suggest a muffler that would be helpful.

I am wondering how much i should expect to pay at a body shop to have the "exhaust hole" on the body filled in and repainted (anyone w/ a gtp knows this small area is different from the rest of the body, so exact color matching would not be necessary, the small area could be painted a different shade, as long as it is close to a match)

I am also wondering if anyone w/ experience could give me an idea of what would be a reasonable price for installation (not includig the price of tips, cat, and mufflers)

Re: Thoughts on exhaust plan

Sounds good. I just got my high flow cat and as soon as i can i will be doing the same thing. I have the MSP exhaust w/ Hooker Aerochamber mufflers and will be cutting off the Y and just running a single pipe.
