Rear View Mirror not working

2000 GLS Intrigue. My wife called to inform me that the map lights in the rear view mirror are not working anymore. I asked if the compass was working and she said it was not working as well.

When I purchased this car from an individule a couple of years ago, I noticed he had a receipt from a local dealer and they had replaced the mirror under warranty.

My questions are, is this a common problem? Will I have to replace the whole mirror or could it be a fuse? Where would this fuse be located? If I have to replace the mirror, is that difficult and where might I find a good deal on one? Any ifo is much appreciated.
