Question 99 cirrus dying while driving

I wad reading some past posts and am not sure if any of these apply to me but here we go......

my 99 cirrus has been a very good car so far but here of recent while driving on the highway the car seems to just die... The motor doest not shut off cause the oil and other lights do not come on but the tac goes to 0 and car slows down.... now sometimes it will come come back on... other times I have to pull off the road and put it in park and it starts right back up. Now a few things I have noticed.... 1 the cruse light flicks on and off and on and off and then stays on.... and some times if I have to slow down and it will just start to run again.... I am not sure but I thought there was a recall for something with the curse?? also is there a website that can tell me how to get any codes and what the codes are for my car....

Thanks
Shannon

Re: 99 cirrus dying while driving

are crysler's the cars where you do the trick with the key where you put it in the on posotion three times then watch the check engine light flash?

if it's normal, you get the codes read at autozone, and a list:

Just a thought, I wonder if this could be caused by a bad coil? I've heard of them failing essentially after they heat up (separate/loose contact) then return to working once the load is removed from them.
