after investing $23000cdn for my car...i'm thinking about selling it. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what you htink it's worth, whta i should list at and what you would pay for it. Here's the mods...

they are grills...but they are thin, so they didn't show in the picture...replacing it would be cheap and probably look really good


I also forgot to mention that the car has an autostarter as well...

i dont plan on selling my car when it gets about 6 or 7 years old. i am not going to put all this money into it just to get maybe half of what it is worth. i just plan on droppin a new engine in there.something better then what i got now.

NO, reason i want to sell it in particualar, I just want something different, thinkin about an imprezza or something along those lines...like i said, 23000cdn...i'm hoping to get 17500cdn...prolly about 12000usd...i think that's the right exchange....

Well I hate to say it...I don't know how popular those cars are in Canada but I couldn't see you getting anymore than MAYBE 8-9000 here in the U.S. The car looks great but fact of the matter is that the car has "high" milage, it's already fixed up so it doesn't leave someone to put a lot of "personal" touches, plus a majority of people are gonna think that the car has been raced if it looks like that and no one wants a car that has been abused. I say garage it and give it to your kid someday.

i'm really hoping i get more than 9g's usd... i can't afford to sell it for that cheap...and impreza is going to run me about 11 or so...hopefully i'll find some rich kid who's parents are going to buy him/her a car...i think that's my only hope..unless i can find someone who wants to trade an impreza 2.5 rs for a CIVIC...not very likely....

12 grand us for a used civic w/ 120k on it? ...bought my hatchback for 2800 w/ 127k..and hatchbacks are harder to find than a coupe.....
painful realization is, regardless of what "mods" you have, its still a used honda civic, with 120k on it. i'd say about 5-6 grand for that, taking into consideration the mods. as for the bumper.......get ridda that, and it might put you 'round 6-7

there is a 97 coupe, with a kit, wheels, some other stuff too, with i believe he said 49k for 8 grand here...at a dealership, so you could talk him down to 'bout 7 cash prolly....

well luckily civics are actually kind of hard to find used...they sell really quick when they are for sale...my buddy bought a 1992 honda civic VX for 5200cdn...high ass km, even more than mine and it had nothing done ot it...that's about 3000usd...i dunno...i should be able to get more than 14g's canadian for it...

if i got 8g's for it, that's 13,000...meaning i'm going to lose over $10,000, i know that mods aren't a good investment...but i don't think i'd lose that much of it...the paint alone is worth that much new...damn it... i can't even find an impreza in b.c. canada for sale either...this isn't going to be fun...i'm going to go to a couple dealerships and check out what trade in value is...but i have the feeling it'll be a joke

i know this isn't what you wanna hear, but i would hang onto that car, it already looks good, and yeah, there's so many civics (maybe not there, which would help) that they dont fetch what they're worth. drop a b16 or h22 or... whatever vtec in there (that will kick up your inthusiasm! :sun: ) and be proud to have something that good.

Dude, just price it at whatever you want and make it sound like it's the best car in the world. Then if 6 months go by and all you've gotten is one call from someone calling you an idiot for thinking you can get that much from a used civic, then lower it a bit until you sell it.
