alinment issue
okay so I just spent about 6 hours at different allinment locations(Kwik car, firestone,ntb,etc.) and nobody could alline it. fyi the car was recently in an accident and new rack and pinion was installed. the steering wheel is almost at a 45degree angle when going straight. anyways...the last place that I talked to(firestone) said that since I didnt install a camber kit after my lowering was done....that it is impossible to alline, does this sound lagit? I wont be receiving my insurance check for a couple weeks and I dont want to fork over more cash and time for pointless stuff so what do yall think? I know I cant be the only one with stingy allinment shops who dont know squat, lol,

they're right. you can't align the camber on stock suspension parts. you'll need to get a camber kit for both the front and the back and then have them install it and re-align it.

Right on. Camber kits (either the inserts, like Revo Teknica, or full-replacement, like Ingalls) should help. I just had my car lowered and aligned (NEX coilovers, Revo camber kit), and the guys said that the kit allowed near perfect adjusting of the camber, which would have been physically impossible without the kit. (2.5" drop, 225/45/17s)
