short shifter installation problems

can neone tell me how to install my short shifter. took my console apart and everything to get to the stick, and it looks like it has to be done from under the car, please help

Don't forget to grease that ball up...sometimes overlooked. Since you are obviously interested in your shifting at this point I might reccomend the always fun urathane shifter bushings and if you have some free time buy a can of Synthetic brake fluid (super blue racing etc.) and swap that old clutch fluid out. It will have a higher boiling point and will give a better all around response however its not gonna do much with the shifter and bushings and all to favor it. The total all around gain will be satisfactory.
