Newbie

Hello Everyone,
I am new here, just tryin' to learn about my Eclipse. My wife and I just got an '00 GS 5 speed, and it is awesome. I have been a sport compact junkie :grinyes: for sometime now. I have had a civic ex, a protege 5, a cavalier z24 convertable, and a neon se/rt, all which I have moderatly customized, nothing big. None of them hold a candle to the eclipse! This is the most well balanced, driver/racer friendly car I have had the pleasure to get behind the wheel of. When I bought this car I noticed a few thing that looked...well... interesting. The exhaust manifold looks after market, so does the intake manifold! Maybe I am just wishing that the previous owners done some of the work for me. :lol2: I plan on taking some pics soon to show off. I am looking for some simple bolt on mods for now, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks alot,
SmokinDComp

Re: Newbie

wow....if you think the 4cyl is that great, you should try out the v6....

search around the site(in this section). we have talked about most of the modifications you could make to this car. none of the small modifications will give you much power. if you want power, you will have to go FI. its that simple. however, upgrading the suspension and brakes can make the car very fun to drive
