it wont start and remote dont work

I have a PA 94 and the car shut off on me a few days ago and would not start however the starter would crank and crank . I had not luck with it starting and I then noticed the remote for lockin the car would not work either nor did it work to push the button in the door for either locks or windows ......the next day I jacked the car up top peek at stater wires but I gave after i could not reach the starter cables up so I lowered the jack and tried the key and it started right up then everything worked fine again (remote locks and pwer window), but 2 days later it did it again and then like before the remote did not work and power windows/doors did not work
what do i do or what should i look for?
please help

no i dont think so cause it does crank and the lights work and the horn and radio just not the doors and windows or i beleave the fuel pump as well

Sounds like an ignition inerrupt, from your resistor in the key or security system. If you have another key, try it to see if it will work.

ty and yes i have tried another key but i had no luck i suspect a bad ground or loose wire but i cant seem to find it and besides that does not explain the reason why my power locks & power windows dont work too

well i dont think so cause i tried another key and it still dont work ,but that would not explain why pwerlocks/powrwindows are not working either

Check for a broken wire in the ignition key tumbler that reads the chip in the key.

i tried another key and i had no luck with that either ......all i get is cranking , lights, horn, power trunk ,blower, and passenger power seats. but no power locks ,no remote entry ,no power windows and as far as i can tell no fuel pump operating either.
please help me find my problem

i wud have thought that is my car was not crankin at all , but it does crank only it dont start and i did however clean all battery cables just in case

where exactly do i find the wire please tell me casue i looked all over under the the steering and leading up but could not find these wires

The wires are behind the ignition switch, in the steering coloum. These links are from other GM post, however all GM ignition switches with pass key function, work the same way.
