Change front brake rotors...NEED HELP!!!
hey, it's my first post here, so be gentle.
I seem to be having a problem removing the wheel hub assembly so that I can change out my rotors. I bought a repair manual and it says to remove the axel nut, then use a gear puller to pull off the assembly with the rotor, and then to change it. I've taken off the axel nut, but whenever I try pull the hub off it won't budge. A friend of mine and myself did everything we could think of, but then we were getting desperate and afraid we might break something, so here I am asking for help. Any tips? |

You will need a puller or a slide hammer to get the hub off, and then the rotor off. You will not be able to get the hub out by hand. Autozone, or another parts store should have these tools as loaners for you to use. If you still can't figure it out, have somebody else do them.

yeah, we had a puller, but all it did was pop the drive shaft out. I was looking on the hyundai tech site and they said to remove the control arm and everything else around it. Seems a little extreme to me.
