Exclamation Help Soon Please !!!!!

OK i've got a 94' gmc safari awd 4.3 vortec (it has the w in the vin so i think it is a vortec) and it began to run rough at idle and almost sound as if it was misfireng i hooked it up to a scanner and it is an EGR valve- where is it so i can clean it or replace it?

PLEASE HELP SOON!

also how bad is this for the car- i need to drive to work tomarro! from my understanding it just makes it run rich because of a vacume leak- (btw i had it scanned for free- he he he WOOT!)

so any help would be great- also any tips on cleaning it?

Re: Help Soon Please !!!!!

It's right under the throttle body intake. 2 bolts and a Plug with 2 wires. Very simple to replace.

Sometimes you can just clean them instead of having to replace the thing. You can also buy a screened gasket to stop carbon from getting into the EGR.
