Removing on/off switch with reverse indiglos?

Sup guys,

I want to eliminate the on/off switch that came with my reverse indiglos so that the indiglos automatically turn on when I turn on my headlights. Anyone ever done this or know how to do this?

currently they're installed but I need to hit the on/off switch everytime I turn on the headlights. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Seems to me like you should be able to cut the switch out of the circuit. Is it in a wire? If so, bypass the switch and hook it up to the lights. That should work for you.

It's actually two additional wires, However the red (power) wire from the indiglo's is already set up to a 12 volt. I dont think attaching the two additional wires will do anything.

It seems like you can splice the wire (or just cut off) the switch. If you can, post a pic so I can see exactly what you mean. Thanks

if it's like mine it's a momentary swtich. You can cheat by just connecting the two pins without the switch on it. Then when power is applied the switch gets thrown.. when power is removed it turns off. Not sure if thats the safest but it works for me .

find wherever your power source is coming from and just hook it up to the ignition wire. leave the switch "on" at all times and then hide it and just use your headlight switch to turn them on and off with the lights.

Thanks guys,

I think its like what nova mentioned. It's not exactly a toggle switch, its more like the switch you need to press to turn on and off. When I installed it, I did try cutting off the switch all together, splicing the wires and then connecting them but when I turn the headlights on/off it didnt do anything. I think i'll give it another shot though.
