Major problems

OK, i have a 2002 chrysler town&country Lx. I just hit 77,000 miles the other day. For the past year i have been experiencing some bizarre situtations. One night when i was coming home and had my lights on the dash lights and headlights would flicker. Then suddenly they completely turned off, even when the car was running. ANd when i accelerate hard, which i do all the, there are dead spots in the powerband. Ive also noticed that all of my power at high rpms has become stronger, and i have very little low end torque. I really need these problems fixed. Iv enoticed that also when im driving at night the lights will flicker like there is a short somewhere or not enough power is getting to them. Its not very noticable but you can see it if you look hard.

The frst things to check would be battery connections and condition, amount of alternater output, and belt, ground connections by the starter. I believe you have more power at higher speeds because the vehicle is already moving

This happened to my friends buick and it was his alternator, it needed to be replaced. As for the low power, not sure.
