PB1457 Trouble Code '01 Civic
I had autozone run my check engine light and they came up with a PB1457 trouble code. They said it had to do with emissions but has anybody experienced this. I have a 2001 Honda Civic. Thanks

P1457 EVAP Emission Control System Leak Detected (Control Canister System)
Thats the correct code you have. Usually it means tighten your gas cap. It could also be rip or tear in your vacuum line. My best advice to you is reset the ECU (disco the negative battery terminal for a few min) and the code should no longer be there. Usually this fixes the problem with that code error. Check your gas cap and your lines as well. Most likely it is nothing seriouse. Give us an update.

i got the same thing at pep boys once with my 01 ex...turns out it was just my gas cap/ and or the door was left open. not really sure but just disconnecting the battery for a few minutes took care of it...
at least i know i should not go to pep boys anymore...guy could not figure it out... and i did (dont know as much as to troubleshoot them) try it see if it works
