Re: windshield was fluid

yeah, there is a bracket that holds the tank down, usually one bolt in the hardest place to get to.

Re: windshield was fluid

From the repair manual it looks like the inner fender panel. The hose can be the leak but depending on what part of the hose it will leak slowly or not at all until you activate the washer motor which then it'll leak faster.

Re: windshield was fluid

Ok, cause it leaks really slow and on the ground where the tank is. If I let it sit for a day and a half or 2 it will be almost all gone...until there is like hardly any, and when there is so little of it left, it dont leak, but thats like 1 cup or so of it.

you have to take off the front splash shield on the drivers side, there are 2 bolts you can reach from underneath, and one on top by the fill neck. take the top one out first, grab the neck and twist and pull it at the same time, it will come out, then take the 2 bottom bolts out and wiggle the tank around a little bit to get it out. Its really fun, I did mine last month and had quite a few choice words for it the whole time.
