well...theres not really a ton you can do besides totally stripping all unnecessary parts. Carbon fiber hood, body kit, fenders....plexiglass windows....lol thats hardcore weight down. but alot of $$$...just take out anything you dont need. it may not be worth it though as you wont lose alot from small things like seats etc.

If I had the CA$H I would go for the side exit exhaust. Just 2 1/2" piping from the header, right to behind the wheel. That would drop some weight, put a good muffler on it to not be sooooo loud, unless you don't care.

Theres always the easy stuff you have probably done, spare tire, jack boards that go over spare tire. You can put an extremely short ram intake that will weigh hardly anything. Just use and HKS filter and a short 3" pipe. I have one like this but didn't want to post it on ebay if interested.

More money and you could put CF shell seats instead of the stock ones, a lighter steering wheel, a small aluminum 40g shift knob. All this stuff will cost a lot, and not reduce that much weight. Converting the popups will drop weight. It's just all about how serious you are.

Thumbs up

Good point, most who are overly concerned about weight do nothing but shittify, I like that word, their car. Since when was it all about speed and no style. A car with no panels has no style. It looks naked, but not good naked, ugly naked. Most people who do that stuff just don't have the money to do some engine and suspension work anyway.

Re: weight reduction

i have a full interiour yet i shaved off about 100 pounds, give or take a few...some of the main things are even just lightweight headers and exhuast, i shaved off prob about 30-40 pounsd by getting aftermarket ones cuz the stock are heavy M F'ers...then things like lightweight rims and racing seats...after that ull have to start tearing into panels and stuff, after all thats done iwth carbon fiber, and after that ur pretty much down to goin crazy with buying stuff like plexiglass windows and crap...but thats just a lil too exrememe
