Re: Connecting Honda Harness To A Cd Players Harness

wait, i'm confused, you don't know which wires are for what comin from the CD player?

usually there is a diagram on the radio that says what wire is which. if you can't find one look at Panasonic's website and see if you can find the manual saying what each wire is. hope this helps.

This was answered in the other thread you started.

2 people gave you the answer. You keep starting new threads asking the question, even after people have answered it.

This post here by civicspoon answered your question in full...it gave you which wire ment what on the CD player and which ment what on the civic harness. This way you would know what CD player wire to splice into the civic harness.

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...2&postcount=12

In case you can't see the links, check your old thread or read below...where I have re-posted the answer to your question (answer courtesy of CivicSpoon). The first wire is the CD player wire, the second wire color listed (after the -) is the civic harness wire color. Splice the proper CD player wire color into the proper Civic Harness wire color.

(CD Player - Civic Harness)

Front Left Speaker
White - Blue/Green +
White/Black - Gray/Black -

Front Right Speaker
Gray - Red/Green +
Gray/Black - Brown/Black -

Rear Left Speaker
Green - Blue/Yellow +
Green/Black - Gray/White -

Rear Right Speaker
Purple - Red/Yellow +
Purple/Black - Brown/White -

Constant Power
Yellow - White/Blue

Ignition On
Red - Yellow/Red

Ground
Black

Other
Red/Black - Dimmer

As I said, just look for the listed wire color on your cd player harness and splice it inot your stock harness color listed next to it.

For example, look for the purple wire on the CD player harness. Splice it into the red/yellow wire in the Civic Harness. Connect the purple black cd player wire to the brown/white wire in the civic harness, etc. Just repeat this with ALL the wires listed above, connecting the colors listed first (the cd player harness wire color to the proper Civic Harness wire color (list afterword).

Now, Please [b]DO NOT[b/] create multiple threads asking the same question. Your question has now been fully answered [b]twice[b/], first by CivicSpoon in your other thread (post 12) and now by me in this thread. Please do not keep asking the same question is new threads, espcially after that same question was asnwered in the previous thread.
