tires opinions

what is everyones opinion on tires?

I'm looking at getting the yokohama A/T+II for good mud and snow traction. Haven't made up my mind yet.

You might want to try a Search on the "Wheels and Tires" forum. You could also open the Tirerack link on that page and access hundreds of consumer reviews on SUV/Light Truck tires on their website.

read the reviews and ratings of tires. I'd suggest going with a Bridgestone/Firestone, BFG, or maybe a Goodyear MT/R if you want good tractiong, I really don't know about the Yokohama's though. Also look at Toyo's and Nitto's. There are plenty of other threads that go into some serious detail of tires, but the best thing to do is type in google "tire name" tests, and you'll get to read about how some people think each tire performs. I went with some Revo's because Petersen's Four Wheel Off Road tested them and had nothing bad, at all to say of them. I'm not very familiar with the Yoko's though so I'm biased.
