1993 APV 3.8L TCC Location/Problem

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum as you can see by my post history. Anyways, I just got my Lumina APV 3.8L. Anyway, I bought it with 178,000 miles on it and it runs pretty damn good. The color is great and the interior is perfect. I am getting that shudder that everyone has talked about on the forum though. Anyway, I get that shudder when I even accelerate from stop to go and when I get to a little bit higher speeds like 40-50 MPH, and it's only when I have my foot on the gas usually. I read up on the TCC solenoid being bad and whatnot which I figured it could be. I just replaced the fuel filter which didn't stop the shudder. I still need to do spark plugs, and wires. Anyway, if it most likely is the TCC solenoid, where do I unplug the the wire so that I can disable the TCC for now so it won't shake for a while. What will be the replace cost of the solenoid? Or how bad would it be to do it myself? Well, any help would be great. Thanks.-Tim giberson
