2005 Malibu Maxx - Front end cover

Has anyone installed a front end cover (bra) on the 2005 Malibu yet?

I was at the dealership last week, and there was none available. The last year they had was for 2003. But, when I searched online, I found that Le Bra has the same part number for the 2003 and 2005 Malibu.

Do these front end covers wear out your paint?

Any recommendations? I do not want to install the plastic tape, I have heard too many horror stories, and it is so expensive.

It's a clear adhesive backed acrylic sheet that's custom cut to your vehicle.

I have it on my Camaro SS and it's awesome.
