Body Suspending

I am going to be body suspending in a few months. I was wondering if any one here at A.F. has done this before or has seen it done before (besides on tv channels). I am going to do the vertical back (suicide) suspension. If you have tseen this i would like you to please share your experience. thanks chris

This is where you suspend your body using your skin and hooks and stuff right? What would make you wanna get into that??

I am already into minor body modifacations. I have 6 tattoos and right now i have 4 piercings, i use to have 13 piercings but got tired of them getting caught on things. It wont be for at least another 3-4 months because i want to get a experienced group since it will be my first time. I am doing this for two reasons. The first is i am religous and jesus indured (sp) all that pain for me and i feel i can show him i appreciate it by doing the same for him. The second is the experince i am always trying new things like this. I am also going to be getting some scarifaction done when i have my kid. I will get both of thier names cut into my chest. I have been into piercings and tattoos since i was little. Most of my family is covered in both. I enjoy it because i can express my self through my tattoos and each has a special meaning of my life.

And here I originally thought it dealt with PSI phenomenon, ergo out-of-body experiences. That was an actual course I took in my Psych degree.

My parents think im crazy too. My parents hate the idea but understand. My mom has never liked my piercings or tattoos but she has accepted me for me. My girlfriend really doesnt care she understands some people are into this and she supports me no matter what. It's kinda like street racers someone will always disapprove but as long as you enjoy it and it means something to you do it.

Whoa there buddy! I think most will agree with me when we step on the peddle for a little speed competition we don't go jerking nipple rings or anything while we're doing 120.

I will borrow my dads video camera and i will take my digital camera and post it. That is if the mods wont have a problem with it because i will have blood running down my back for a while from the hooks.

Seems to me that if you wanted to show God how much you apprecieate him you would try to take care of yourself, and not go cutting, piercing, marking and ragging out the only body he gave you.

NOTE: I'm not making fun of your decision to do it or your beliefs, I just don't think that's a good reason.

ermm... the whole idea behind Jesus suffering and being crucified was that so you wouldn't have to do any of that.... but whatever...
