Hi, so recently my truck has been not wanting to start. For about a week when i started my truck it sounded pretty painful like it was struggling, now it just doesnt start at all... Its funny because i just got a new starter 5 months ago, i would have thought it would still be ok. THe battery must be fine because radio/lights work but when we tried to jump it it didnt do anything... so its either my starter or alternator correct? anyway have any idea? ( i can roll start it fine)

does it crank or is there nothing?? and even though the radio and every thing works dont assume the battery is ok, my honda (i know chvy board, dont gimmie that shit) had a 2 month old battery in it, and sat for those 2 months, and it needed a jump even though every thing worked

When you try to start it and you radio is on, do you notice the interior lights dimming? Could be starter but I have more battery issues. Side posts suck ass. Had the same issue and it was corrosion in the threads on the battery. Recently did a top post conversion and got a nice optima battery, works perfect everytime!
