Rubicon locker over-ride

My 05 Rubicon will only let you use the lockers when in 4 LO. This is just the way it was designed, don't know why. What can I do to over ride this; to use them in 4 HI and 2 HI? I am pretty sure there is no switch on the transfer case shifter itself. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Rubicon locker over-ride

The link wouldn't work for me; was it an easy electronic change, or was it mechanical?

Re: Rubicon locker over-ride

Electric. Easy. Just wired a jumper wire with a 2 position swich between number1 and number5 on the back of the switch. From the start to finish 30 minutes.

Re: Rubicon locker over-ride

Do those rubicons come with Dana 44's from the factory?

Do they have a Jeep V8?
