Question Eclipse RS or 3000GT VR-4

So I just came across the oppertunity to pick up a 93 VR-4, the problem is the wife won't let me keep my eclipse if I get the 3000GT. The 3000GT is in good condition except it needs some minor body work. Other than that it's all good. What should I do?

Well, it kinda depends on how financially secure you are. If you can afford the insurance and gas prices of the 3kgt, then I'd say go for it, assuming you actually like the way the car drives and all that jazz. We could say a million and one things, but in the end it is completely your decision mate.

3000gt VR4 all the way man, dump your RS and move on. That thing is a POS. Start off fresh with a real car, and one that will smoke 95% of cars on the road STOCK. That is one of the elite cars in mitsubishi history, and definately worth having.

Maintenance costs will be high. Gas mileage will not be great. Insurance will go through the roof. But if none of this really matters, then it's a no-brainer.

Re: Eclipse RS or 3000GT VR-4

If it was GSX vs a VR-4, I'd say stick with the DSM. But youre talking about an RS and a VR-4. Lol, there should be no comparison, VR-4 all the way man.

Re: Eclipse RS or 3000GT VR-4

If you want speed and power go with the vr4, but if you really dont care for power and want a good dayley driver stick with the rs.

If I had the choice I would deffinitly go with the vr4!
