Instructions for a Remote Central Locking kit

I have had a Remote Central Locking kit fitted to my car by an auto-electricians. After they fitted the kit they threw out the instructions so I don't know how to work anything other than the basics. The kit has an accessory wire and a wire to flash the lights when you lock/unlock the car. Both were left unconnected so I've decided to connect them up myself.

Has anyone got a Microscan SCL3000 Keyless Entry System and the instructions for it? Could you tell me what each wire does on it (colour, purpose, polarity, max load)? And how to program in extra remotes?

(If you have a scanner a pdf of the instructions would be great.)

Thanks,

mrClio

Have you tried contacting the company? You know the name so do a search. I wouldn't be surprised if the instructions were on their website somewhere...

Re: Instructions for a Remote Central Locking kit

Go to the shop that threw them out and say you need a new set of instructions. It was their fault maybe they should fix it.

I just got off the phone to the guys that fitted the kit. They don't have the instructions and suggested I try to get hold of the manufacturers for a copy.

I've googled for the instructions online but could only find instructions for their car alarms. I emailed one of the support addresses on their site and was told to phone them instead. They weren't very helpful.

It seems to be a pretty standard kit as far as wire colours go so someone with a similar kit may be able to help:

Black: earthed
Orange: Guy on phone told me this gave a negative output when the car is locked.
Red: live (has a fuse in it)
Pink: Guy on phone said this flashed the lights but didn't say whether it was a positive or negative output
Blue/White: Lock or unlock (can't work out which)
Yellow: earthed (don't know why)
Green/White: Lock or unlock (can't work out which)
Blue: earthed (don't know why)
Brown: earthed (don't know why)
Green: earthed (don't know why)

Thanks for your help,

mrClio
