Stock exhaust with muffler from autozone.

Fit- 5 - great fitment when my local muffler guy welded it on. just awesome.

Power - 5 - Definately feels like its been boosted. its like my car transformed from an innocent kitten to a ferocious tiger.

Loudness - 5 - my car sounds louder and better than a ferrari fxx. i think i can beat the fxx on the 1/8th with this new mod. has got to be the best mod ive done since my tornado.

Stainless steel - 5 - best material to use, because it keeps all the acid rain from rusting the metal. keeps it nice and clean looking.

Re: Rate Your Exhaust

you guys can delete this after a day or so... i was just wondering if you really thought your car felt "boosted" after putting on a muffler onto stock piping?

Apex N1 turbo muffler with 2.25 piping header back. 97 lx with open airbox.

fit 5. it was welded so it fits great

power...4 maybe. not to noticeable

um what else? oh Stainless steel muffler polished, steel piping.

Loudness..pretty damn loud lol. not too bad sounding though surprisingly. only when my AT shifts is when it gets tinny but i can deal with it. all other times sounds really good. i recommend the NA muffler though, turbo is frikin huge.

Of course, instead of starting another thread to rate various exhausts, everyone could just use the freakin search function to read any one of the five billion other "which exhaust" threads.

and seriously, "boosted" from a muffler onto stock pipe? What are you? 14?

But my favorite:

What the hell are you even talking about? The best exhaust you've run with huh? What'd you pay 4 bills to fart? Brand name? install? Catback, full on, header and straight pipe?

this is why it's such a bitch to get decent info on this forum.

Re: Rate Your Exhaust

Well I seen some of you ripping on this thread but I am going to post anyways, because I am happy with my exhaust. I would rate 5 across teh board. Got 2.5" pipe from the cat back with 2 dual tipped mufflers. It actually sound purty good (not like most of those fart cans) and it didin't cost too much...

yet the exhaust remains unnamed. how it was constructed remains a mystery. Joe Shmoe logs on, sees this thread at the top, looks at it, he would like to build a 2.5" dualy pipe for his 1.6 liter (a waste of steel IMHO) but will never know just what to do because you like your exhaust without any regard to sharing useful information on how to build it or what parts to use from which company. Thanks for bastardizing the point.

I LOVE my exhaust! Its got metal and rubber hangers and sounds great! And didn't cost much either! Its a 5! A 5! Can you guess what it is so you too can have one as well?

ugh.
