Re: which is da best civics body??

yeah, 5th gen hatch... i think it may be the lightest... if not its one of the lightest... and engines drop in with mounts, unlike pre 5th gen

Re: which is da best civics body??

EK's are a pinch heavier but they're stiffer, look better, and are generally more refined. I dig the EK.

Re: which is da best civics body??

owning two EKs, 1 EG, and 1 EF. my love goes out to the EFs.

as far as the gsr swap is concerned. the eg or ek will be the pick.

Re: which is da best civics body??

I like the EK coupe or the EF hatch, at least thats what I thought, but just went and looked at my 96 coupe which I thought was an EK, but its an EJ7. I thought an EK9 was the CTR, which is same gen as my civic. are the 2nd set of 3 characters in the vin not the chassis code, I thought they were, and mine is 1HGEJ7....

so 5th gen hatch(cuz of weight and looks better than 6th gen hatch IMO), 6th gen coupe(straight for the fact its the best looking civic ever) is my vote just in case I somehow got the chassis codes mixed up.

Re: which is da best civics body??

I'm down for the EF, but the EK is sick too....I don't like the EG for some reason....But as for swaps, EF's for B16's, B20's & K20's.....as for EK's....B18's & B20C's...But that's just me.....you guys might have a totally different taste

Eg's beat Ek's all day long. On the track and the street. Weight is the key. You can make a chassis more rigid, but you can only take so much off. I have an Eg and all my friends cars are Eg's so I have a biased opinion. But they are lighter.
