Well I uploaded a few pics of the new Corvette block LT1 383 and I uploaded a few clips to streetfire.net but they are not ready yet so I will add the links later.

and I got this frame a while ago and thought some of you may enjoy it

How the hell do u get away with still having NY plates when u live in smoke-stack land now????

My mom is in real estate and she currently owns five house and one is in putnam county. So I registered it there and I did use to live there and still go there from time to time. So its all good. That helps out with the no emissions thing and insurance.

oh and as for numbers, I am hoping for high 11's but expecting low 12's due to traction issues.

if u still get out this way you should bring the beast and we will wreck all rice. I am the only regular LT1 on RT 6 anymore...kinda sad.

I stole it, BIG TIME. I paid 600 for the engine with all the brackets, basically everything for it to function with and I didn't need anything but the block, heads and then I had it machined put all forged internals. I bought basically cause I saw how it had such low mileage and had a warranty (which is void now, so that doesn't matter) but I wanted to build a stronger 383 (vette's have the 4 bolt mains already) and I had some kinks to work out on my original so I figured screw it and went for it. Its estimated at 475 Horse right now but I have to get it on a dyno to know for sure but it can break the rear loose up to nearly tripple digits.

for sure, I was up almost that way last this weekend, I went to Deer park , LI and the Mamaroneck, for the carnival and fireworks. You were just like another 30 - 35 minutes away.

damn, im super jelous. Who did the work? What the hell are you gonna do with your 350?

I did everything but the machining of the block and the other one was a 383 as well but a 2 bolt 383 LT1 and I am going to either part it out. Or may hold onto it and just save it for a project.

Thanks, I am actually trying to upgrade the suspension and chasis. I just picked up some SLP subframes and the SLP STB is new and I am upgrading the shocks all around and I need some new street tires but I have to tell you there is something to be said about the look on people faces when you smoke them and were still losing traction the whole time. I raced a new mustang and I killed it and was fishtailing in and out of both of lanes. LOL

The guy was super pumped too, He was like wanna run . huh huh.?. I had just made a new race mix, so I was like sure lets do this. ( I had my friend trailing me in a S2000) I 1/3rded the throttle then at like 20 mashed it and poured smoke til about 70 when I blazed him put mega distance on him and the guy was so pissed he copped a U-turn right in the middle of the street so as not to see me at the next light. My friend in the S2000 pulled up laughing his ass off ( I am sure cause of the smooth idle thanks to Bryan from pcmforless) the guy didn;t know what he was in for. Probablly look over thought LT1 . well this will be close.
