turn signal

I have a 98 GM LS. The problem is when I put the turn signal on (left or right) sometimes the dashboard turn signal will not light up and the turn signal tic sound will be faster. Also the front turn signal will not flash and light up. Other times the turn signal will work fine. Any suggestions on the problem on how to fix?

Re: turn signal

the big round flasher has been replaced with electronic flasher units by 98 - they have gone bad but very rarely - the multi function switches in these are a very common problem and the symptoms of some lights not working all the time are tell tail signs on the switch going bad
