Remolding?
my personal "disclaimers" : i have bad spelling, lazy with the grammer, newb at fixing up cars.
so basically i just purchased a 87 mr2 like 2 weeks ago for 440$ and well today i got bored so my friend and i decided to rip apart the interior.. after about 45minz we successfully removed everything on the inside.. I noticed that parts of the dash was cracked. so now im asking.. how would one remold it? or is there a way to fix it? And also, because i want to paint the interior myself, what paint would i use to paint the vinyl/plastic on the interior? ill post some pics of the nakedness within the car as soon as i find my usb cable.. |

Re: Remolding?
shift knob: turn it more, it'll feel like it's sticking for a while, but then just spin off.
dash stuff: buy a new one or just sand it down some, fill in the cracks and recover it. i'm not a fan of paint on the interior... it will get gross from constantly being touched or bumped... as well as being somewhere that gets hot...
