And here we go again...

Ok so, my Cruise Control just all of a sudden stopped working. WTF! That doesnt make sense. Nothing has been seriously wrong with my car, nothing special happened. I just tried using it one night and no green light. So I depressed the button and tried to set CC anyways thinking it may be just a lightbulb. Nope. The whole damn thing is offline. Any pointers? The only thing I got is some of the schematics from the tech manual, but nothin else.

What is wrong, what would cause this, and how do I get my drunk throttle, errr.....cruise control back on?

Yeah, I would just let it be, but since I drive on average, about 1k miles a week or better, CC comes in handy from time to time.

Keep in mind that the CC low limit is 25MPH, high is 90 MPH. Check the fuse & reseat the relay.

DUDE! Your fired! Nah j/p man. But seriously, it is under warranty under the origional owners name, not sure how it works when its sold, whether it carries over names or what not. Either way, I hate the dealership mechs, lol. Only had to have my car worked on by someone other than me one time, when I had my catback done, and trying to keep it that way. (Call it Taurus ego/pride, heh.) But I have never had a good experience with any dealership tech before. If all else fails though, I gotta do what I gotta do.

Yeah, I actually read that little book they give you (the owners manual or something like that, lol.) Chalk full of usefull shit. I have not use for CC under 40MPH anyways As far as the fuses, I have triple checked both fuse compartments both visually and with the tester and they are all good. Pulled out all the Relays and re seated them, and still nothin.

Not that I am aware of. Tail lights are still stock, so unless my the 01 models came stock with LEDs, then the answer is no...final answer.
