how much hp gain do you think i can get with just a intake?
i'm aware that this mod don't really do much to a car. but i just love the sound, and since my engine is 2.4 liters shoudlnt' it respond to mods better then honda motors? and has anyone got any good intakes on their 240's and would liek to recommend a certain brand and how much gain can i expect at the wheels?

Well
Injen says w/the intake and the cold air extension piece (CAE) it will give you 15HP total. Now...that might sound large...but it does give you a decent amount...it'd safely say 10 w/the whole system...CAE and all.
If you want one...get one from www.enjukuracing.com or some other place...I have been seeing people say that they are going to pay over 200 just for the short ram...I am like NO! Shop around and get different prices and quotes...check your local speed/tuner shops...maybe they can cut you a deal.

thanks, thats goin to be my first real mod since even after i did a 750 tune up today and i still lost to my friends pesky 02 accord LX coupe 5 speed. now i'm desperate for my power. i have too much pride in my car and nissan. i must win!

Ricer magazines rate the Injen Intake pretty high.
PS: You better beat that accord soon, for the sake of 240s everywhere.

Ricer mag's? What are these?
Well the first mag I saw the Injen intake on a 240SX was SCC and I dont think they are ricey...but Super Street and Import Tuner are a bit. 750 for a tune up? I had a Nissan mechanic offer me 150 for a tune up and said she'd run like a dream after...course I didnt need one b/c my car was fine the way it was...but he offered nonetheless.
