Go post where your Ford buddies will appreciate your trash talk. You must be one of those B.O.G's aka Blue Ovary Girls.

The only reason people buy Ford Interceptors is because GM has not made a decent police four door sedan since 1996.

By the way, does your Interceptor need some power? You could always use the motor off my "rusty" Caprice, and then you might have some real power under your hood.

Quote: Whats with you and the Crown Victoria's??? Why would I downgrade to a P.O.S. Ford?? Thats like trading in a military Hummer for a golf cart. I mean c'mon man! Should I bring up the Pinto? And not to mention the '96 Caprice bein' a lot quicker than the Mustang. If I want something thats gonna leave me stranded 400+ times a year, and thats gonna be fatal in an accident if I back into an empty garbage carbage can, then sure, I'll get a Ford, but until then I think I'll stick to something thats a little less of a P.O.S. Besides, what are you doing in the Caprice area anyway???

And, oh, I thought you said "get a real car boys" Not "Look, any car around is better than this pile of crap"

You really are an idiot, get the hell out of here. No one likes you.

oh, and a neutral drop?! I said finish off the tranny, not blow it up. Thats a brake stand you idiot. You don't know sh*t do you. All you know is that you think your car is fast. When that thing goes to the sh*t, I'm just gonna laugh. I'd like to see you CV last as long as a Caprice... lets see it, 350,000+ miles. Start driving.

Ask any cop that had the privilege of driving a 9C1 what they think about having to drive those pos crown vics. And don’t worry, the crown vic is slowly going the way of the caprice, its an aging rear drive dinosaur in a front drive market

In defense of CV, keep in mind I have two caprices now, but the caprice came in the 4.3 or the 5.7, so a CV will eat a 4.3....Of course a 5.7 is another story, and Ford will soon go the way of the Caprice. However you wont find any Fords being sought after as much as a Caprice.

And for the record- the new CVI's are junk, the only thing I like about driving them is the new car smell which I find very relaxing after I get dusted by a maxima or Caprice, now that the knuckle heads have access to them.

F(fix)O(or)R(repair)D(daily) vs CHEVROLET

Around here, ex-Ford cop cars go straight to the crusher because no one will buy them while Chevrolet Caprice's go to auction and bring thousands of dollars.
People here just don't waste money on a "Ford".
I owned a Ford once back in the 60's. I learned my lesson from that experience and have never given any thought to ever having another.
