Post Picture Request : Aoshima Work Equip.

Does anyone have any pictures of this set of wheels outside the box, preferably with the tires on. If possible sitting on a Civic HB.

Re: Picture Request : Aoshima Work Equip.

A hassle with these will be tyres, they come with really tall profile tyres on the tiny diameter rims.... May or may not be the look you are after? plus the widths are akin to drag style big'n'littles, so you may need 2 sets.

Ouch, So these are some really wide wheels eh? Can the Fujimi 15inch Pirelli CINTURATO P7's fit on these wheels (these are the tires that come with most stock wheels). These rims are 15 or 16 inch? How big is the lip on these wheels!?

Hey Tonio, thanks for the picture. In your pic it seems like these rims are pretty small (16's at most) but they seem mighty wide! like 16x10! Are these wheels like the fujimi 325 series? The front wheels are small then the back ones are humungous? I have an idea, can the Hasegawa Civic Hatchback tires fit on these wheels? The 15 inch Bridgestone Potenza RE71?

I'm trying to achieve this look

Thanks alot for the help guys

Re: Picture Request : Aoshima Work Equip.

I tried some of the Fujimi P7 cinturatos on the equips which came spare in my Aoshima C130 Laurel kit, and I think they (the pirellis) were slightly too large in their internal diameter for my liking - they fit but not tightly like on the fujimi wheels (its not as though there is a noticeable gap though).

Sweet! Maybe the Bridgestones Hasegawa brings on the Civic Hatchbacks will fit even tighter. When you put on the Pirellis how much wider were the rims? Were the rims as wide as the tires? Wait, Are the front wheels less wider than the rear ones? Are these rims like the Fujimi 345 Series?

Re: Picture Request : Aoshima Work Equip.

You can probably get away with the other tire sizes if you add some styrene around the rim, maybe give it an even larger lip. I tried to mount "thinner" tires and found that they do not fit snugly.
