2005 Squeaky Gas Pedal

Anyone else notice a squeak when they are driving their '05?

It seems like the gas pedal is made of a plastic material that has some give in it. It drives me nuts hearing the high pitched (but faint) squeak.

I'm looking into aftermarket pedals as replacement... but I wish I wasn't dumping $$$ into a new car.

Thoughts?
