No fuel no spark

I was driving down the street in my friends old body s-10 4 cyl and it just died. So i checked the fuel and spark and had neither. I was thinking bad crank sensor, ignition module or both. Help me out

Re: No fuel no spark

did you check fuses? yeah if the fuses are good, id say the ignition switch. if your not getting either, than it would have to be fuse or switch.

All of the fuses are fine. Everything on this truck operates fine but the fuel and spark. I put a new ign. module in and still no go.

year

i need to know the year in order to help you out if it is a fuel injecton then check the computer my old blazer 89 2wd fou banger had that problem i spent almost 50 hrs and 700 bucks to figure it out and it ended up with the computer or sometimes it can be a cam sensor or even the oil pressure sensor could be many things but i think you better off going to junk yard finding a computer if you can those four cyl are a great motor if you keep up with it just a thought!!!!
