Door Trouble
As I was getting out of my truck a couple of months ago, a gust of wind caught my door, and opened it very violently. Now, whenever I am driving on the freeway, I hear a whistling sound, as if my door isn't shut. Any recommendations on where I should take it?

i would say some kind of auto body shop . it may need new door hinges, they are probably bent.

Re: Door Trouble
My '99 had a different sound from the door, as if it wasn't shut all the way. I used a Torx T45 (I think) and moved the post inward and it's cured. Less wind noise, shuts more convincingly and doesn't sound like it's gonna fall off going over bumps.
Might work for you and it's free if you can borrow a Torx driver. I marked where the post was located with a pen before I moved it in case I wanted to move it back. Quote:
