crappy brake rotors?

has any one had trouble with warping? my 2003 ls sport has had 4 sets of rotors in 35000 miles, the service dept. told me im not using them hard enough. so far g.m. has been eating the repairs. the lease is up in nov. and no way im buying it out. i cant put rotors on every 9k miles

iv never had a problem.

Are you getting crap rotors??? That might be your problem, go out and replace them yourself with good brands, and see if they warp out.

they are g.m. parts. it is a leased car. im not fixing it for them. im trying to get them to fix it for me.

I have the same crappy rotor problem with my 2001 impala LS, SEVERELY WARPED ROTORS The whole car shakes when the brakes are applied over 40mph.
Also have a problem with noise from the steering {loud clunking when rotating the steering wheel minimally at very low speed}
Manufacturers defects that seem profitable for the manufacturer, unsafe for the consumer.

buy urself some aftermarket (performance even?) rotors....it'll solve ur problem...

ooooh, i forgot, it's a lease...screw that then....let them keep swapping oput rotors...it's about all u can do...

Get a set of Brembo or Power Slot rotors with a good set of ceramic brake pads I recommend Hawk. You can order them from Tire Rack if no one carries them locally.
