Question Best prices for aftermarket exhausts

(Yes, as usual... stretching that dollar!)

I have decided that it is just about time to add some goodies to the VFR. I am looking into the Scorpion exhaust system for my 03 VFR and was wondering if anyone out there had some good prices? It looks like the best price I can find so far is about $500.00. Even www.pipecity.com has them listed at $550.00.

Any input would be greatly appreciated...

-Bill

Re: Best prices for aftermarket exhausts

I am not changing the bike...

Just the exhaust, windscreen, and maybe adding the rear fender eliminator. The bike will still be the same.

how about putting some NAAWWWWWZ on it? hehe.

Some different exhausts, but I think the one you're looking at is overpriced there.

Re: Best prices for aftermarket exhausts

Yeah... They are a little pricey. EVERY exhaust out there for the VFR is! I think it is because I have the dual underseat pipes straight from Honda, so I have to replace them both.

Hopefully, I will be able to find them for about $450.00. I know a few people that bought them at that price before the recent price increase.

Jeep, you don't listen too well to begin with... maybe you should RECONSIDER putting on a louder can... it might damage your hearing even MORE...

Huh? What did you say?

HAHA!

I need the pipes on before I move to the new place... That way the neighbors can hear me coming.

Jeep, seriously... leave that beautiful bike alone. What did that Viffer ever do to you?

I was been perfectly fine with the stock exhaust... Until the day I heard Ron's Viffer with the StainTunes on. It sounds SOOOOOOOOO much better.

Besides Saturn, what gives you the right to dog me out for changing out my pipes? Have you heard your bike lately? Ummmm... Maybe I am not the one who should be worring about my hearing!
