Question Programing a Keyless Entry for 1999 Saturn

I am trying to program a keylless entry in a 1999 Saturn SC. The directions say to jump DLC terminals 4 & 8 and the horn will sound when this is done. I don't know which terminals are 4 & 8. They are not marked. Can someone help me???? I guessed and counted but that wasn't right.

this should do it

Quote:
Locate the ALDL. It is the connector that sticks out from under the dash. It is located below and to the right of the hood release. Jumper the fourth terminal to the eighth terminal on the top row. The door locks and the trunk release will cycle. Depress and hold the lock and unlock buttons simultaneously. The locks will cycle when programmed. If more than one remote is being prograqmmed DO NOT remove the jumper until ALL have been programmed. Note each time the ALDL is jumpered, it erases ALL previously programmed remotes. So ALL remoites must be programmed each time a new one is added
in the rare event the 8th pin is not there, then a Tech2 is required for programming, take it to a GM/Saturn dealership.
