problems
I brought this '99 Grand Am about 2 yrs ago, the dealer said he did a tune-up on it, & I have driven about 14,000 more miles on it, it had about 94,000 miles when I got it. I drive mostly around town to work but now the car is cutting out when I start out at first & at traffic lights when I start out. It acts like it can't get any gas, altho it has never stopped running. Do I need another tune-up or a gas filter. Are these the only problems to look for or are there other more expensive problems. The engine light does not come on. Any one with some answers can e mail me at [email protected]. Thanks

Re: problems
Try getting the throttle plate cleaned and then do a shock treatment on the fuel injectors. There's a really strong fuel injector cleaner sold at Pep Boys (with nick marks indicating 1 ounce oer tank full of gas). Well add the whole bottle. Finally, change the fuel filter and then see how it runs.
