First, I'd switch the gears in the back for some 3.55s or 3.73s.
A duel exhaust system with an off-road X-pipe and headers.
A cold air intake with a bigger throttle body and better flowing intake.
Some bigger and better cams and then put on a nice Vortech.

With that right there you'd be running 13s all day long.

I was about to scream "He'll be running 13's on THAT???"

Then I noticed you mentioned a Vortech

Those 05s seem pretty good. I was surprised with that article that the GT ran 12's for only a thousand or 2 thousand dollars. Maybe the V6 will be running respectable times for cheap.

i dont think anyone here, even the v6 guys like me know enough about the new engine to tell u to much... one interesting thing ive heard about tho is that it might be possible to switch the engine to a 24v dohc. that would be pretty cool.

I was considering doing that to a GT. But then I could lose horses, who knows? Somebody try it out and let me know how it turns out!
